Bruce completed a Bachelor of Mathematics Degree at the University of Waterloo in 1971; graduated from the University of Toronto Law School (LL.B.) in 1974; articled with Blackwell, Law, Treadgold and Armstrong in Toronto from 1974 to 1975 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1976.
Bruce has been practicing family law in Toronto since 1976 and also has a family mediation practice.
